WOLLY lambskins are natural products whose beauty and quality are best preserved through gentle care. Each wash alters the product and contributes to wear and tear. Natural wool has self-cleaning and antibacterial properties. We recommend washing the skins no sooner than about 2 years after intensive use. Care Instructions:<\/h2>\n

Shaking it out, brushing it, and airing it out regularly often makes washing unnecessary!<\/p>\n

!!!Long-pile hides can also be washed. However, the subsequent processing of the wool is very labor-intensive!!!<\/em><\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t[\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″]\t\t

\n\t\t\t

For light soiling, you can wipe away stains with a damp sponge or cloth and a mild soap solution. Then pat the fur dry. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For heavier soiling, all washable lambskins can be machine-washed on the wool cycle at 30 \u00b0C.<\/strong> Use a special, moisturizing detergent containing lanolin. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After washing, spin-dry the pelt thoroughly (at least 10 minutes at 1,400 rpm) <\/strong>so that the leather side remains as dry as possible. If the leather is too wet, it may harden\u2014in this case, the pelt should be washed and spin-dried again. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To prevent matting, brush the wool while it is damp<\/strong> using a suitable brush. We recommend our real-wood fur brush<\/a> for this purpose. Coarser mats can be loosened with your fingers and then brushed out. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Let the fur dry flat in a well-ventilated, shaded area \u2014 ideally with the leather side facing up on a clothes rack. Avoid direct sunlight<\/strong> or heat sources, as these can damage the material.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t[\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″]\t\t

While drying, the fur should be regularly pulled back into its original shape and softened by gently kneading it<\/strong>. It is especially recommended to repeat this step several times toward the end of the drying process. <\/p>\n

Once the leather is almost dry, you can tumble dry the hide for about 10 minutes (on the refresh cycle, without heat) to make it even softer.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Once it is completely dry, you can brush the wool again with a suitable brush<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 after that, your coat will be ready to wear again.<\/p>\n
